How it works

Use the jotter to sketch, make notes and collect tickets, scraps and souvenirs to remind you of your adventures.

With our app make sound recordings that capture the moment.

Then attach your sounds to this jotter through the Mayfly illustrations printed on each page.

Once you’ve made a recording, simply choose a Mayfly illustration from within the app.

To listen back, look for the Mayflies in your jotter and use the viewfinder lens within the app to release your sounds from its pages.

Design

Our jotters are lovingly made by Opal Print, a family run printers based near to us in Midsummer Norton.

We use the highest quality acid-free paper, which has an organic, tactile finish that is perfect for sketching and note-taking: Forest Green G.F Smith Colourplan for the cover and white Antalis Olin Regular on the inside.

The 24 pages are bound with a simple bronze staple.

Printed on the bottom of each page you will find our Mayflies, beautifully illustrated by Laurie Clark, whose originals were drawn at the same size as they appear in the journal.
