The Mayfly Quest - We headed along the River Test in the Mayfly hatching season and we found swarms of them hatching! Read more on the blog.
MyMayfly - We launched MyMayfly on the website which is a chance to find out ways to use Mayfly and a chance to let us know how you are using yours.
Intern Alison joined and has been working with, blogging and marketing Mayfly ever since! And now our team has grown even more with new intern, Hannah!
The Mayfly Activity Book - With the help of the Arts Council we ran a fantastic and fun project working with students with dyslexia and creating an activity book based on making stories through sound, pictures and making, rather than writing. Read more on the blog.
Brigstow - In October we showcased our recent activity book work at The Brigstow Institute launch along with many other designers and creatives around the city. The Brigstow Institute is the University of Bristol’s new research institute.
Android development - We have developed the app to be available for Android technology.
Selling at the Watershed - We have started selling Journals at the Watershed cinema in Bristol.
Created more designs - From our Stickers and Journal we have gone on to creating new designs to make Mayfly accessible to all people in all situations, so the Mayfly jotter is for those who want to record and carry a smaller jotter around with them.
What’s coming up for the next year?
We hope to be selling Mayfly in more venues and shops around Bristol so keep an eye out for them as the perfect gift or present for yourself or for someone else! Plus we hope to develop our Mayfly activity book further from everything we learned from the Brigstow project.
